OFK Beograd is facing a ban from entering European competitions, even though it occupies an excellent third place in the Serbian Super League table – the local media write.
OFK is right behind the untouchable Crvena Zvezda and Partizan in the table, but it still hasn’t received a license to play in Europe due to nine years of blocked accounts for unpaid salaries of players, coaches, managers…
According to Serbian media, OFK Belgrade currently owes one million and 819 thousand euros.
OFK has less than three months to return the account to liquidity and not to question the license for UEFA competitions.
Zvezda leads the Super League table with 58 points, Partizan has 41, and third-placed OFK has 33 points.
