According to the decision of the Government of Zenica-Doboj Canton, made at today’s session chaired by Prime Minister Nezir Pivić, all pensioners from this canton who receive the minimum pension in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina will be paid a one-time aid in the amount of 100 KM for the first time. The government will allocate a total of 3,458,500 KM for this purpose for 34,525 pensioners.
The Prime Minister said that all pensioners with a minimum pension will receive help, and when it comes to proportionate pensions, help will be given to those pensioners whose total pension amounts to the minimum pension. He explained that pensioners who earned a pension abroad and eventually received a pension that exceeds the amount of the minimum pension in Bosnia and Herzegovina, will not receive this assistance.
– Only pensioners with a minimum pension will receive help. This makes me particularly happy because, as the Government of ZDK, through a series of measures in the past two years, we have gone in the direction of improving the living conditions of all our residents in the area of ZDK. However, given that pensions are not within our competence, we could not intervene more specifically. This decision came as a result of making that population happy in this way and showing that we care about the most vulnerable population – said Prime Minister Pivić.
In conclusion, the Minister of Labor, Social Policy and Refugees, Antoni Šimunović, was given permission to sign an agreement with the Federal Fund for PIO/MIO to transfer the approved money, and so that the aid would be paid with the pension for November.
The Prime Minister said that the funds were provided by savings and the household relationship, that is, that the Government did not take on credit, and this budget year will probably end without new credit.
At today’s session, the Government approved the Draft Law on Real Estate Tax and the Draft Law on Property, Inheritance and Gift Tax, which will be sent to the ZDK Assembly, and then to a public debate.
– It is about avoiding double taxation, at the request of our businessmen, that is, those who do business in legal transactions. We have received justified objections, where it happens that a double tax is paid. In this way, we want to avoid, possibly, such situations – said Pivić.
At the proposal of the Cantonal Administration of Civil Protection of the ZDK, a total of 480,000 KM was allocated – 450,000 KM to the City of Visoko for the construction of a mixed collector and road rehabilitation, as well as the decision to award a one-time financial aid to the Municipality of Vareš for urgent preventive measures to clean up the river Stavnja and its tributaries.
After decisions last week allocated about 3.5 million KM for agricultural incentives, at today’s session, incentives in the amount of 98,000 KM were approved to support the production of cucumbers – gherkins and to support the keeping of laying hens.
