The Vice President of the Transneft, the Russian State Company that has a monopoly oil, passed away after allegedly fell through the window of its apartment in the luxurious Moscow suburbs of edge, published state media. Transneft confirmed that Andrej Badalov died in 62. years, but did not comment on the circumstances of his death.
The company said his work was marked by a “heavy and stressful period” for Western sanctions, writes Moscow Times.

Badalov’s body was found under the window of the building on the highway Rudjovo-Support, reported the State News Agency TASS, referring to an unnamed source from the police. “According to the first information, the cause of death is suicide,” the source said and added that a preliminary investigation was underway.
Badalov is from July 2021, since he was appointed vice president, he was in charge of the digital transformation of Transneft.
His death is the latest in a series of unexplained deaths of Russian energy sector since Russia in February 2022. initiated invasion of Ukraine. At least four deaths in 2022. were associated with state-owned Gazprom, while others included the director of Novatke and Lukoila, writes Index.hr.
