This is a project whose total value is 270,000 convertible marks, and the funds provided by the Government of the Una-Sana Canton. As prominently in the opening, the implementation of this project is a significant step forward in ensuring better working conditions and more efficient implementation of legal procedures in cases of deprivation of liberty.
The Minister of the Interior USK Adnan Habibi expressed satisfaction that the project was successfully completed and thanked all institutions that supported its implementation.
– I am happy because we have completed a project called the detention unit, that is, rooms for the retention of people deprived of liberty. I thank Prime Minister Hushic, Government members, the Chairman of the Assembly of UK and the Assembly of MPs that recognize everything we do in the Ministry of the Interior UK – said Habibi.
He emphasized that security does not have an alternative and that investment in safety capacities is necessary for the quality life of the Canton citizens.
– This project will be of great benefit to police officers in performing their daily work. So far, we have had difficulty working conditions when a person would be deprived of liberty – police officers had to monitor those persons daily, which was a great load. With the opening of these rooms, we solved a big problem and I think this will significantly improve the work of the Minister of the Ministry of the KJCO Police.
By opening the detention unit, Una-Sanski Kanton received modern rooms that correspond to all legal and safety standards, which further strengthens the capacity of the Citizens’ rules and security.
