This change brings more efficient, safer and faster document exchange, while reducing business costs and improving the fight against corruption.
From 12. March this year, the Office officially received a qualified electronic certificate from the BiH Administration, which enabled the use of a digital signature in communication with other institutions and citizens. Thus, all acts and decisions of the Office received full legal force in digital form, which further contributes to the modernization of public administration.
The Secretary of the Adela Tabaković office emphasized that the introduction of an electronic signature is an important step towards more efficient work of institutions and faster response to citizens’ requests.
– By introducing an electronic signature, we enable our users to receive answers to their inquiries faster, to easier and efficiently consume their rights to BiH institutions at all levels. The digitization of the administration is not only a technical improvement – this is a way to accelerate processes, increase transparency and facilitates communication between institutions and citizens – says Tabaković.
She added that this is an opportunity for Una-Sana Canton to monitor global digitization trends and introduce institutions into contemporary forms of work and communication.
– I believe that both employees, as well as our citizens, feel the benefits of these processes in the coming period. This is an important step forward that will enable faster and more efficient work, but also increase citizens’ trust in the work of institutions – the Tabaković pointed out.
The application of the electronic signature is harmonized with the Law on the Electronic Signature of BiH, the Law on the Electronic Document of the FBiH, the Law on Administrative Procedure of the FBiH and the Rulebook on Office Business.
