In the last match of the 18th round of the Premier League, Arsenal’s players recorded a minimal 1:0 victory against Ipswich Town.
The only goal of the game was scored by Kai Havertz in the 23rd minute of the game. With this victory, Arsenal overtook Nottingham Forest and Chelsea and took second place in the league table.
The goal in the 23rd minute came after a nice move by Topnik on the right side. Leandro Trossard threw in the middle, and Havertz put the ball into the empty net from close range. The result did not change until the end of the game.
In the second game of the evening, Brighton and Brentford played goalless. Ipswich is still the top team in the league with 12 points. Brighton now has 26 points, which is enough for 10th place, while Brentford is 11th with 24 points.
