During the meeting, the directions of continuing support for reform processes in Bosnia and Herzegovina have been discussed through technical assistance instruments, with a special focus on the preservation of financial and monetary stability, as well as the importance of the CBBH independence in its work and action. In the context of further European integration, the key role of the CBBH was especially emphasized in preserving macroeconomic stability and strengthening the public confidence in the financial system.
The Governor Selimović pointed out the importance of cooperation with the constituence countries, that the CBBH is taking over the host of the meeting of the countries of the Constitutions in the field of financial education and inclusion, which will be organized in cooperation with the OECD. This event is an important platform for the exchange of knowledge, experiences and good practices among the member countries.
Governor Selimović, together with the BiH delegation, also visited the Embassy of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the United States, where the ambassador and embassy staff hosted.
During the meeting, cooperation was discussed between institutions in BiH and diplomatic-consular missions abroad, with a special focus on the common promotion of BiH economic potentials, improving the investment image of the Earth and support strategic reforms.
Tomorrow, bilateral meetings continued with high IMF and SB officials, the CBBH were announced.
