Elementary school “Kulin ban” Visoko received a new sports field, the reconstruction of which was financed by the Government of Zenica-Doboj Canton with funds in the amount of 250,000 KM, and as part of the project, a parking lot with 90 spaces was arranged.
The Prime Minister of the Zenica-Doboj canton, Nezir Pivić, said at an appropriate ceremony that one of the priorities of the Government he leads is investment in schools, which are a second home for children.
“Investing in educational infrastructure is our priority, as well as improving the material status of employees and helping parents and our children through the acquisition of free textbooks,” said Prime Minister Pivić.
The Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports, Mirza Mushija, said that the City of Visoko is one of the most agile local self-government units in this canton, which implements high-quality projects, which have the support of the line ministry and the Government.
– Investments are made in the right way. We as the Government feel that we are in the chain of doing good, which can be seen on the field, but also in the joy of these children who finally have excellent conditions for sports and recreation – said Mushija.
Mayor Mirza Ganić thanked the Government for the financial support for a large number of school infrastructure renovation projects, of which this is one of the most important.
– We create conditions for children to play sports and have fun. The playground is open 24 hours, and our wish is that young people use mobile phones as little as possible, and play as much as possible – said Ganić.
Teachers and parents were greeted by Minister of Finance Dženana Čišija, and the ceremony was attended by Minister of Internal Affairs Emir Vračo.
– I am proud of every project that is implemented in our city, especially projects in schools. We will continue these investments in order to ensure the best possible conditions for our children – said Čišija.
The government previously financed the heating of the building in the elementary school “Kulin ban”, and this year three smaller projects were implemented – reconstruction of the IT network, equipping of the cabinet for IT and reconstruction of the assembly hall.
