Government of Zenica-Doboj Canton, 93. Session chaired by Prime Minister Nezir Pivić, brought a number of decisions in the field of the Ministry of Economy. In support of development and establishing new industrial zones in the cantonal area, 700,000 KM was allocated.
– All municipalities and cities in the area of the cantons that have applied and met the conditions were given funds. For companies, exhibitors at fairs, as last year, we allocated about 80,000 KM. This amount will be assigned to the companies from the Area of the CPC for the performance at fairs, and the funds are distributed through the public invitation – said Prime Minister Pivić.
The Prime Minister announced the General BH Fair ZEPS in Zenica and the Fair of Economy in Tešnj, which will be held during the next month.
– These fairs became extremely significant, not only for Bosnia and Herzegovina, but also in international frameworks, and from year to year, all better results are recorded. We are especially proud that we renewed the maintenance of ZEPS last year, the fair that is a symbol of Zenica and Canton, but also an internationally recognized event. We saw that the economic exhibitors from all over the world are happy to return to present their products – Pivić added.
The Chamber of Commerce received 70,000 KM for the implementation of its programs, so a total of about 850,000 KM today was allocated from the Ministry of Economy.
– The Ministry of Labor, Social Policy and Refugees conducted a public invitation for the award of non-governmental organizations financed from the Budget of the ZDK for 2025. year, in the amount of about 130,000 KM. Also, we also had about 30,000 KM of individual help of an interventional nature – said Pivić.
The Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports today has opted 638,000 KM for the co-financing of energy efficiency projects in the field of education, which are realized in cooperation with international partner organizations UNDP and “Caritas” Switzerland.
428,000 KM, ie 50 percent of the project total value, while 150,000 KM, or 49 percent of the value of this project, was allocated for the project with UNDP.
