Behind SRK Zrinjski Mostar is another extremely successful edition of the international handball tournament Mostar Handball Winter Cup, which confirmed its reputation and importance on the European handball scene for the fifth year in a row.
The tournament was played in three age categories – U11, U13 and U15, and brought together:
- 20 clubs
- 47 teams
- 1160 young people participants from 5 countries: Germany, Spain, Croatia, Montenegro and BiH
Figures that best describe the scale of the event:
- 135 games
- 5 sports halls
- 80 volunteers involved in the organization
We are proud to have successfully organized one of the most organizationally demanding sports eventsfor which we receive only words of praise from the participants.
We are proud of the high level of handball quality, proud of who we are Mostar was presented as a city of sportsthe city of young people, the city of tourist beauty and the city of light.
We are particularly satisfied with the fact that almost all participants have already announced their arrival next year, when the tournament is held from January 14 to 17, 2027, they stated from SRK Zrinjski Mostar.
They instructed thank you very much to all clubs and referees, to all volunteers, directors of sports halls for their hospitality, to the City of Mostar for their sports infrastructure, and to hotel owners for top-quality accommodation for all teams.
