The Tax Administration of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina announced that the taxpayers of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina paid 7.3 billion KM of public revenue in the period from the beginning of the year to the end of October, which is more than 739 million KM or 11.27 percent more compared to the same period last year.
The number of employees according to the employee’s place of residence is 547,520 and is higher compared to the previous month. The largest increase in employment was recorded in the fields of education, administrative and auxiliary activities, production of finished metal products, and trade in motor vehicles and motorcycles. The decline in employment was recorded in the activities of public administration and defense, storage and transport, catering, clothing production and employment mediation.
According to the records of the Tax Administration, 175,695 persons under the age of 35 are employed, which makes up 32 percent of the total number of employees, while there are 371,825 persons over the age of 36, or 68 percent. In the Federation of BiH, 55.5 percent of men and 44.5 percent of women are employed.
In the territory of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, 109,374 fiscal devices were installed, through which a turnover of more than 6.6 billion KM was recorded in October. Compared to the same month last year, the number of fiscal devices increased by 4,639, while the total turnover was higher by more than 318 million KM.
The total turnover since the beginning of the year has exceeded 60.6 billion KM, which represents a growth of 6.43 percent compared to the same period of the previous year.
The largest number of fiscal devices was recorded in the area of the Municipality of Centar Sarajevo, while the largest turnover was recorded in the Municipality of Ilidža, where the total value of turnover exceeded 533 million KM, the Tax Administration of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina announced.
