Edinson Cavani officially ended his rich playing career at the age of 39. His last club was Boca Juniors, and during his career he left a strong mark in numerous European giants.
He started his professional career in the Uruguayan Danubi, established himself in Palermo, and then shone in Napoli, where with 104 goals in 138 games, he became a club legend and one of the most deadly strikers in Serie A.
He experienced the peak of his career in Paris Saint-Germain, for which he scored 200 goals and was the best scorer in the club’s history for a long time. After PSG, he also played for Manchester United and Valencia.
In the jersey of the Uruguayan national team, he made 136 appearances and scored 58 goals, and his biggest success was winning the Copa América in 2011.
