At the 92nd regular session of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the draft budget of BiH institutions and international obligations was adopted, Klix.ba learns.
As it was said to our portal, this budget includes a provision by which employees in state institutions will be paid 1,000 KM in one-time aid.
In addition to the one-time aid, the novelty in this proposal is the verification of money for the Central Election Commission (CEC) in order to acquire new technologies for the next elections, as well as the conclusion that the one-time aid for employees in state institutions in the next budget will be 1,200 KM.
The proposal of this budget was drawn up by the Ministry of Finance and Treasury of BiH, and now it is going to be approved by the Presidency of BiH.
After the BiH Presidency, it should be adopted by both houses of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Let us remind you that in the earlier proposal from the Presidency, funds for financing seven cultural institutions and money for BHRT were among the items proposed, but in the draft that was adopted today, there is none of that.
The Presidency of BiH has the right to amend this proposal, and the representatives and delegates in both houses of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH have the same option, unless the budget is adopted in an emergency procedure.
Let us remind you that the budget for 2025 was supposed to be adopted last year in October, but the first official proposal arrived only in April this year.
After the amendments of the BiH Presidency, the budget did not receive support in the House of Representatives of the PS BiH, after several attempts to adopt it, writes Klix.
