It is with great regret that we announce the death of a beloved son, brother, friend and boxing champion Paula Bamba, whose love and light touched many lives.

After his last victory, Bamba challenged Jake Paul to fight.

Jake, you can come get this, you can fight for it, or you can keep fake fighting. At the end of the day, I did my job. You can claim that you take boxing seriously and that you’ve made a lot of money, but you haven’t gained respect in boxingBamba stated a few days ago.

Paul Bamba was supposed to fight against Tommy Fury, half-brother of Tyson Fury, in 2020 in Dubai, but the fight was then canceled because Fury had problems with his weight.
