During the day, kinesiology tests were performed, as well as tests on the treadmill, which started the process of detailed assessment of muscle strength and muscle balance, which will serve as the basis for individual planning of the training load during the preparations.
“I am happy that we are together again. We are entering these preparations with a clear goal, to improve our physical fitness, get in some extra play and prepare well for the challenges that await us. We have 17 league games ahead of us, as well as an appearance in the Cup. At the first training sessions, due to the holidays, we do not have a complete team, but that will be resolved very quickly, after which we will continue at full capacity,” said Cvitanović.
The following players were present at today’s roll call:
Banić, Mušija, Mehić, Zahirović, Gojković, Mujkić, Gelson, Maroodza, Mlinarić, Oliveira, Elezi, Ljajić, Beganović, Bralić, Cimirot, Mamas, Kuprešak, Cerić, H. Mehmedović, Dreca and Dizdarević.
The other players were justifiably absent.
The team will do the first part of the preparations in Sarajevo, while it is planned to go to Turkey in mid-January. During the stay in Antalya, it is planned to play four friendly matches according to the following schedule:
• 21.01. – Zorya Luhansk
• 24.01. – Dunajska Streda
• 28.01. – Shkëndija
• 31.01. – LNZ Cherkasy
The return from Turkey is scheduled for February 1, while the first official game of the new year is scheduled for February 7 in Koševo, when FK Sarajevo welcomes the Radnik team from Bijeljina.
