On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the work of the Department of Turkish Language and Literature of the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Zenica, a ceremony was held where certificates of appreciation for successful cooperation, continuous support and selfless contribution to the work and development of the study program were awarded to the Government of Zenica-Doboj Canton and the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports.
Head of the Turkish Language and Literature Study Program Edina Solak said that without the support of the ZDK Government, this department would not exist or develop into what it is today.
– Unselfish help and support are always available. We are pleased by the Prime Minister’s words that, even in the case of a smaller number of enrolled students, we will continue to work at our department. We sincerely thank Prime Minister Nezir Pivić and Minister Mirza Mušija for their help and cooperation – said Solak.
Prime Minister Nezir Pivić, in addition to thanking the employees of the Department and the Faculty, also thanked the Republic of Turkey for the support it provides to the University of Zenica through partnership with universities from Turkey, and especially for the support to the Department of Turkish Language and Literature.
– Long live our University in Zenica and the Department of Turkish Language and Literature. I want us to experience many more beautiful moments together in the future – said Prime Minister Pivić.
The Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports ZDK Mirza Mushija congratulated the Department on its 20th anniversary and emphasized its importance not only in language teaching but also in connecting two friendly countries and peoples.
