The witnesses of the Prosecution of Bosnia and Herzegovina stated that they cannot remember that Osman Mehmedagić, who was charged with abuse of position, studied at the American University.
Asim Jusic said that he was a lecturer at the Faculty of International Law and Diplomacy of the American University since 2011. years. According to him, the students were mostly younger than age. Mehmedagić could not remember.
“I don’t remember having a student with that name,” Jusic said.
When asked if Mehmedagic remembers the exams, the witness said that they were mostly written exams and that students took them under the code.
Mehmedagić is charged with performing the Director of the Intelligence and Security Agency (OSA) without the prescribed high expertise, when his Faculty’s Diploma for Business Studies in Banja Luka was annulled, until 2023, when duties were resolved. He is accused of abusing his position to remain in a function for which he did not meet the conditions.
Witness Lejla Miller said that 2009. she taught at the American University. She couldn’t remember she taught Osman Mehmedagic.
“I don’t remember, I don’t think I”, “Miller said.
She stated that he did not remember that there were older, but noted that there were a lot of students.
Asked by Nermin Mulalić’s defense counsel, Miller confirmed that he generally does not remember the names of students.
The witness, whose name cannot be published, said that 2009. enrolled international law and diplomacy at the American University. She stated that he took a diploma in the Student Service, as well as the transcript of the rating, and that she also received a graduation diploma in New York, from which they listened to part of the lecture online.
“We were the largest group, over 50-60 students,” the witness said.
She said she doesn’t remember Mehmedagic. As she said, there were different age students.
Mehmedagić commented that he was a lot younger 16 years ago and was not gray.
Mirela Ibrahimović Mehanović said that since 2019. until 2021. was the director of the Bosnian cultural center in Tuzla and that some rooms were rented to the American University. She stated that the U.S. University was obliged to them and that therefore had two lawsuits, which have not been resolved until today.
The witness said that he once informed duty once that the American University moved his things even though they were obliged to rent them.
