EMIS consists of web applications and databases that can access via the Internet, enabling simple data entry, their processing and visualization in the form of charts and reports. The system includes data on buildings, buildings of buildings, energy systems, daily eyes from the meter and monthly racers for consumed energy and water.
– The use of EMIS is now now contributing to better planning and implementation of energy efficiency measures in the public sector. Over the past years, UNDP in BiH enabled the application of EMIS in more than 7,000 facilities throughout BiH.
Through continuous development and imports of new functionalities, the EMIS has improved to provide users with precise energy intensity mapping, monitoring the realization of ESCO projects, as well as advanced analytics and reporting.
– Transmission of ownership of the EMIS is more than a technical step – it represents a key contribution to the green transition of Bosnia and Herzegovina and is a strong indicator of how digital solutions can accelerate this process. Thanks to our partners, EMIS has become a powerful management of energy efficiency measures, resulting in financial savings and supports the institutional level – said Renaud Meyer, a resident representative of UNDP in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
EMIS was developed in 2008. in Croatia, with the support of UNDP, as a modern web platform that enables dynamic monitoring, analysis and reporting of energy and water consumption in buildings. Since then, the system has been expanded and used in several countries, including Malaysia, Moldova, Montenegro, Magska, Ukraine and Turkey, and Bosnia and Herzegovina, where in use since 2011. years.
The surrender of the EMIS environmental funds in BiH is an important step in the capacity of domestic institutions in the field of energy management, and the environmental policy and mitigation policies, the UNDP was announced.
