The players of Zrinjsko beat Borac in the remaining game of the 3rd round of the WWin League BiH in Banja Luka, and the only goal of the match was scored by Matej Šakota. Zrinjski came with this victory three points behind after the leading fighter after the first half of the season.
After the match, Zrinjski coach Igor Štimac said that the match was meaningful and competitively demanding.

Both of us knew how much this match meant to us. The fighter had the desire to increase the advantage, and we knew that the points were leaving us in a solid race in the continuation of the season after the New Year. We did our best, we left everything on the field, even though we came quite empty and had a lot of problems. This is it a team that has heart and that was seen even todaysaid Štimac.
He added how it is pleased with the way on which the team finished a demanding half-season.
I am very proud of the players and how we finished the half-season overall. We played more than 30 games in four and a half months, and the rest of us it really lives on all fronts. I said that, with this rhythm and everything that awaits us, four points behind Borce would be a positive situation. With this victory, we showed that with Borac we aspire to first place and that the fight will be fought to the very end. I hope we will have the strengthsaid Zrinjski’s coach.

I am very proud of the players. What to say? After such a half-season, in which we had no rest, in which the discharges were enormous in every game. In every game we went to the limit.
