The competition was the opportunity for young people to show the acquired knowledge and skills, and the importance of a fast reaction, but also empathy – therefore, all what makes the first answers in crisis situations.
10 teams participated in the competition, a total of 66 competitors, competing at 10 polygons – five working and five recreational ones. More than 50 volunteers and professionals have given their contribution to the organization, simulations and logistical support, enabling everything to go well.
– Volunteering is the core of our work and such competitions not only nurture humanity and solidarity among young people, but also develop concrete skills that can save lives in real situations. We are proud of all participants, volunteers and professionals, their mentors who have dedicated their time to learn and provide first aid – because the knowledge of the first help is knowledge that is worth Namik Hodžić, Secretary General of the Red Cross and BiH.
By the way, in the category of Promplant, the first place was taken by the School “Mehmed Beg Kapetanović Ljubušak”, Second Elementary School “Fr. Ilije Starčević Tolis”, Orašje and the third place “Mula Mustafa Bašeskija”, Kakanj.
In the youth category, the first place took the Youth Team “Tutti Fratelli”, Orašje, second place a team of young Kiseljak and the third place “Gymnasium”, Živinice.
