As Vijesti.ba previously announced, Madžid Šošić became the new player of Željezničar.
This 22-year-old offensive player signed a contract with Željezničar until the summer of 2027, and he arrives at Grbavica from Hajduk.
Madžid Šošić was born on August 12, 2002. At the age of ten, he arrived at the Youth School of FK Željezničar, where he stayed until 2020. With Želja, he won championship titles in the cadet and junior competitions. He won awards for the best player in numerous tournaments.
At the age of 18, he went to Hajduk, where he was a player until today’s arrival at Grbavica. From Hajduk, he played on loan in Zrinjski and Radomlje in Slovenia. He played a total of 64 games for Radomlje, where he scored 13 goals and added eight assists.
Šošić played for all the younger selections of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and he made his debut for the A selection in 2024 in a friendly match against Italy. Šošić plays in the position of forward midfielder and winger.
