SIPA in Mostar arrested four people: Arsenal weapons found in the “Range” action

Police officers of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) are in the area of ​​Mostar, under the supervision of the Mostar Cantonal Prosecutor’s Office and at the orders of the Municipal Court in Mostar, the “Range” operational action has implemented.

Freedoms are deprived of four people who will be carried out in SIPA premises during the criminal processing and testing in the capacity of suspects. The Prosecutor of the Mostar Cantonal Prosecutor’s Office will be determined about their further status. This operational action was realized due to the existence of the basis of suspicion that the criminal offense was committed to “causing general danger” prescribed by the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s criminal law.

Seven locations were searched during which the following items were discovered: Four hunting rifle, automatic rifle, Malock, muffler, 235 bits of caliber 7.62 mm, 518 pieces of rifle Unknown caliber, 269 pistol ammunition, 172 packs of caliber 308, 16 pieces of munition 9 × 19 mm, 189 balliber ammunition 223, 78 pieces of smaller ammunition as well as other items that can serve as evidence in further proceedings.

Upon completion of these activities, the competent prosecutor’s office will be filed against the suspects of the committed criminal offense, due to the existence of suspicion that they committed the criminal offense of “an unauthorized holding of weapons and explosive substances” of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

These activities were realized in cooperation with the police officers of the Border Police of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Ministry of the Interior of the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton.
