The basketball players of Bosnia BH Telecom achieved a sensational victory in Subotica tonight, defeating the home team Spartak in the match of the 11th round of the ABA League.
Spartak dominated from the beginning. After the first quarter, the score was 28:13, while in the 15th minute the advantage of Subotica increased to 25 points (47:22). It was then that the great return of Bosnia began.
At halftime, Spartak led 54:37, but the third quarter brought a turnaround in Sarajevo’s game – Bosnia scored 30 points against Spartak’s 14 and reduced the score to 68:67.
In the last part, Michael Young (22 points) and Alfons Plummer (21 points) led Bosnia to a turnaround, achieving a double-digit advantage (71:82). The final score was 86:93.
With this win, Bosnia and Spartak now have a 5-5 record and share fourth place in Group B of the ABA League.
