Former Sarajevo football player Selmir Pidro returned to the Bosnian Wwin league and was presented on Saturday as a new member of Mostar’s Velež.
Velež confirmed that Pidro signed loan agreement until the end of the current season, which he started in the American team St. Louis City.
St. Louis has now decided to loan Pidra to the Velež team, where they expect him to play more minutes.
Pidro was born March 3, 1998 in Bugojno. The beginning of his career was marked by his performance in the academy of Sarajevo, where he recorded three goals and eleven assists in 31 games. In mid-January 2018, as a loan player from Sarajevo, he moved to Visoko Bosna, where he made thirteen appearances and scored two goals during his half-year stay in Visoko.
Selmir spent the next four years in Sarajevo where he played the largest number of games in his career so far, scoring one goal with seven assists. With the burgundy team, he won the double crown in the 2018/2019 season.
