“Weltschmerz, a term that includes a melancholy from the gap between ideals and reality is the custodic topic of the festival, the festival is investigating the loss, change and resistance to the artists and as an artistic medium and as a critical thinking tool,” she pointed out.

“We will have exhibitions in the historic museum, in front of the National Theater, but also the Festival puts special emphasis as permanent formival, the festival supports and encourages the culture of independent publishing in the regional photographic scene,” added is.

Redžepagić emphasized that with exhibitions, the festival also offers educational programs – panel discussions, lectures and workshops, designed to open dialogue between disciplines and generations.
“The aim of these events is to deepen the public engagement with a photograph and its evolving role in modern culture. The competition program remains a column of the festival, and the winners, life, fashion, landscape, event, documentary, conceptual and mobile photography,” said Redzepagic.
The international jury in which the director of PhotoVogue Alessi, the documentary of the Kiana Hayeri, the Berlin Marina, Paulenko and the winners, and a ceremony of the National Theater in Sarajevo, a special exhibition of the awarded works will follow.
