Sarajevo will be the host of the “European Open” from 11. to 16. March in the biliary, one of the world’s most prestigious tournaments in this sport.
Participation will take 258 players from all over the world, including the top ten billiards of all time. The tournament is organized by Billiards and Snooker Association of Bosnia and Herzegovina, with the key support of the Ministry of Culture and Sports of Sarajevo Canton.
On this occasion, the Minister of Culture and Sports Kenan Magoda hosted the best Bosnian billiards of players, Viceprevaka sanjina pehlivanović in order to express support for him and this significant sporting event.
– I am proud to host Sarajevo for the first time. The arrival of the world’s best players confirmation is the quality of this competition. This is a huge step forward, both for our city and for Sanjin’s exceptional career. So far, it was represented by Bosnia and Herzegovina at the highest level, and now it will do so in front of its audience in Sarajevo. The Ministry of Culture and Sports of KS is pleased to support Sanjina and the organization of this championship – said Magoda.
Sanjin Pehlivanovic thanked Modeabout for support and constructive conversation, emphasizing that such an event would not be possible without his continuous assistance.

Competitors will come from all over the world – America, Asia, Europe, Vietnam, Philippines and other countries. This is an opportunity for Sarajevo and Bosnia and Herzegovina to show their love and support in the development and promotion of this sport – said Pehlivanović.
He pointed out that last year was the best in his career so far, during which he won second place at the World Cup and a number of other prestigious titles and tournaments.
