Washington and Moscow are negotiating a possible agreement by which war in Ukraine would stop, and Russia was confirmed by the control over the territories he took. According to the sources of Bloomberg, the goal is a frozen conflict and open the way for technical peace talks.
Putin is seeking a recognition of Russian sovereignty over the crimming and whole donbas, while in turn stopped the offensive in the regions of Herson and Zaporozh. It is not clear whether Russia will return some occupied areas, such as the Zaporozh nuclear power plant.
Trump, who wants to end the war quickly, is increasingly more impatient because of Putin’s procrastination. He warned that he would introduce customs to countries who buy Russian oil, if Moscow does not agree to the ceasefire until Friday.
Putin still insists that Ukraine gives up NATO and recognize the loss of territories. The Ukrainian Constitution, however, does not allow the assignment of territories, and the green refuses to recognize the Russian occupation.
Trump said he was willing to meet with the path and without Zellenic. The details of the potential meeting are still arranged.
