Rennes players beat Lille 2-0 away from home with second-half goals in the match of the 17th round of the French Ligue 1.
The key moment happened in the 14th minute when, very early, Lille remained with a player less after disconnection Alexsandra. Rennes charged more players in the second half with goals by Frankowski in the 49th minute and Merlin in the 56th minute.
