Driving schools throughout BiH have been in a serious problem after the last letter of the Ministry of Communications and Transportation of BiH in which the candidates during the exam should not use technical aids in vehicles, such as parking sensors, back-back and similar systems.
This recommendation was presented in the letter that Minister Edin Forto sent to the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and the Sport of Zenica-Doboj Canton, and the same document was submitted to the Ministry of Education and the Culture of the Republika Srpska and the Brcko District Government. Thus, this recommendation is practically relating to all schools in the country.
“The Ministry considers that the candidates through the training process should be introduced to the new technologies, but that the candidate should be carried out in its own, without the use of technical assistants (parking sensors), parking pilots), listed in the letter.”
For many car schools, this is a problem, because in recent years, they have in recent years in the modernization of the fleet, buying new vehicles that already in the basic equipment have numerous assistant systems that cannot be excluded.
Some vehicles, like a new VW Golf 8, come with functions that cannot be deactivated, like helping on the uphill, the proximity sensor, automatic braking and the like.
Emir Ajanović, owner of the Ajan Auto-School from Zenica, that his car school recently renewed a complete fleet and that he was practically impossible for the exams to be organized without the use of modern equipment.
“Vehicles like golf 8 come with equipment that cannot be excluded. Most of us will be forced to change vehicles, which is not realistic to return to decades.
Ajanović also says that the competent training quality is viewed in the use of “accessories”, but not in the exit of the candidate on the highway which is prohibited during the implementation of training classes.
“We have beginner drivers who go on the highway, who ‘don’t know’ how to download tickets on toll houses because it’s not allowed to do it …,” Ajanovic added.

“Persons of various ministries have changed the ordinances for years. We want to drive to European directives, and at the same time, we have been declared to prevent corruption, but no one has the greatest mortality in Europe in road traffic,” he says.
Ilić also states the example of Croatia and other EU countries where candidates have the right to park corrections, while in BiH regulations are rigid, which leads to unnecessary loss during training.
“For such rules we spend 30 percent of sleep training. We have an average speed under 20 km / h many schools do not cross 200 kilometers in 35 hours. All this is written by any candidates.”
