Nezir Pivić Canton Prime Minister Nezir Pivić, together with the Ministers of Jenna, and Nikolic, received a delegation of the OSCE Mission, which was led by the OSCE Deputy Head of BiH Zahid Movlazada.
The focus of the conversation was the cooperation of the Government of the CC and OSCE in the areas of this organization, and especially the fight against corruption, the fight against gender-based violence, gender equality, curriculum reform and environmental protection and environmental protection and environmental protection.
Movlazada thanked Prime Minister Pivić and the Government of the Zenica-Doboj Canton and supporting the OSCE priorities, emphasizing that the OSCE remains committed to this path and will continue to support all levels in order to make additional steps in these areas.
Prime Minister Pivić said that the government led by a strong step forward in these areas, especially in the field of fighting corruption. He stated that the Office of Corruption, a separate cantonal body, which was fully equipped, which has already spent a number of activities in order to reduce the risk of corruption, of which the registered registers of employees and appointed persons in this canton. He emphasized that the procedure is the adoption of the Law on Reporting Properties of Public Functioners, which, except at the cantonal level, and the level of cities and municipalities, will be applied.
– It’s a goal to bring back the trust of citizens in the institutions. Democratic society needs strong institutions that will be close to citizens, and public administration in the service of the people. This is also a message to young people that we are transparent and that we want to continue to build a society of equal chances, “Prime Minister Pivić said.
He added that the government made an additional step forward in this regard, initiating the formation of the Public Procurement Office, which will be a centralized public procurement authority for all bodies, as he pointed out, reduce the risks of corruption.
The Deputy Chief of the OSCE Mission was also presented by the new cantonal hospital, a hospital complex with 800 beds, including significant funds, including the realization slowed down due to the city’s representation and unresolved property-legal relations.
Minister of Justice and Administration Nebojsa Nikolić thanked the OSCE to support reforms, saying that this canton is committed to legal regulations in these areas, but to be insisted on the implementation of the Federal Regulations to resolve these issues throughout the FBiH. He added that, in that sense, the adoption of the Law on Conflict of Interest in the FBiH is also expected with great care.
– Our commitment is that the anti-corruption office does not work the judiciary’s job, but to strengthen the fight against corruption. According to the work of the Court’s work in the first time in the FBiH, and I believe that we have contributed to the judiciary’s infrastructure, which we will complete the next year by building a building of the court in Zavidovići – Nikolić said.
Finance Minister Jenna’s Cholakovic said the budget of this canton was liquid and stable, and all overdue obligations are paid on time.
