Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic is being heard in the police over the allegations of the daily “Kurir” that he, together with several other persons, participated in putting pressure, blackmailing and extorting unlawful testimony of the former director of the newspaper, TV “Pink” reports.
“Kurir” stated today that twenty days ago, Vucic, with several other persons, asked the former director of “Kurir” Aleksander Kornic to give false testimony and falsely accuse the owner of “Kurir”, Aleksandar Rodic.
Rodic accused Vucic recently for trying to impose censorship in Serbia.
Kornic filed a criminal complaint saying several people, including Vucic, offered him different things if he accepts to “say some lies about Aleksandar Rodic.” He, allegedly, met with those people in the basement of a Belgrade restaurant.
They said they will admit him to ruling SNS party, and help him establish his private business. They also offered him money, according to complaint he filed.
Andrej Vucic, brother of Prime Minister, was among those people, as well as the owner of another Belgrade newspaper Informer, Dragan Vucicevic.
