One of the best Bosnian footballers, Miralem Pjanić, has been without a club since he left CSKA Moscow on July 1 of this year.
If the UAE football academy he joined is to be believed, he is done playing.
The “DB Football Academy” from Dubai, owned by the Spanish handball player David Balaguer, announced that there was a change in the ownership structure, but the name of the academy.
As of today, it has changed its name to Mundial Football Academy, and on its official Instagram profile it is stated that two new partners have joined the project, including Miralem Pjanić.
It is interesting that Pjanić is presented as a “former footballer”, although he never officially announced the end of his career, but the fact is that he never officially announced it.
However, to guess that Pjanić shared the same post on his profile, which hints that we won’t see him on football fields anymore.
Pjanić started his career in Metz in 2007, and then played for Lyon, Roma, Juventus, Barcelona, Besiktas, Al Sharjah and CSKA Moscow, while he made 115 appearances for the BiH national team and scored 18 goals.
