On Wednesday, the police officers of the Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the TK, with the consent of the prosecutor of the Cantonal Prosecutor’s Office of the Tuzla Canton and acting according to the orders of the competent municipal courts, searched persons, passenger motor vehicles, and residential and other premises used by persons who are linked to the commission of criminal offenses at several locations in the area of Tuzla Canton.
˝During the search in the area of Tuzla, Lukavac and Živinice, the following items were found and confiscated: a total of 10 (ten) PVC. packages with the content of plant matter that by its appearance is associated with narcotic drugs and 7 (seven) PVC packages with the content of white substance that by its appearance is associated with narcotic drugs, 2 (two) digital scales for precise measurement, money in the amount of 850.00 KM of different denominations, as well as other items that can be linked to the abuse of narcotic drugs, and which will be used in the evidentiary proceedings,” the police administration of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of TK announced.
Temporarily confiscated items will be the subject of expert examinations, and adequate reports with evidence will be submitted to the Cantonal Prosecutor’s Office of Tuzla Canton against the persons included in the aforementioned searches.
As part of the investigation, by order of the acting prosecutor, one person, EK (2006) from Lukavac, due to the existence of grounds for suspicion that he committed a criminal offense under Article 238 of the Criminal Code of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina – Unauthorized production and placing on the market of narcotic drugs, was deprived of his liberty, and the same will be handed over to the Cantonal Prosecutor’s Office of Tuzla Canton for further action.
