Continuing the planned activities to suppress the traffic of narcotic drugs, the police officers of the Department for the fight against the abuse of narcotic drugs, under the supervision of the Cantonal Prosecutor’s Office of the Sarajevo Canton, implemented an operational action codenamed “Beretka”.
In the searches carried out in the area of Novi Sarajevo and Stari Grad, several different packages of different substances associated with the narcotic drugs cocaine, speed and marijuana were found, totaling approximately 38.8 kilograms, a certain amount of cash, eight mobile phones, foreign personal documents suspected to be forged, and numerous other items of interest to the investigation.
Narcotics with a street value of more than half a million convertible marks were seized.
BK (1998) and EI (1989) from Sarajevo, and JL (1998) from Pale were deprived of their liberty due to the existence of grounds for suspicion that they had committed the criminal offense of Unauthorized production and placing on the market of narcotic drugs and Forgery of documents.
By checking the relevant databases, it was determined that an international central search was issued for the man EI, and based on the act of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina dated 07.05.2025. year.
All those deprived of liberty are undergoing criminal processing in the official premises of the Police Department of the KS MUP, it was reported from the KS MUP and the KS Prosecutor’s Office.
