At least 15 people were killed and more injured on Friday after a large explosion in the industrial city of Faisalabad in Pakistan’s Punjab province.
The media house “Dawn News” reports that the explosion caused the collapse of a building and damaged surrounding buildings.
The injured were transported to hospitals, and rescue teams are still on the ground.
The report states that the explosion was caused by a gas leak.
“A fire broke out in one of the factories due to a gas leak and affected other factories as well,” the report stated.
