He pointed out that the talks also “confirmed the vital role of Egypt and President Sisi in the global peace network.”
– Recognizing the potential of President Donald Trump’s peace efforts, Egypt took the lead in peace initiatives in the Middle East, which resulted in the peace summit in Sharm el-Sheikh and the end of the conflict in Gaza – emphasized Orban.
He said that “Europe owes President Sisi its gratitude”, adding that he looks forward to welcoming the Egyptian president to Budapest next year.
On Saturday night, Orbán represented Hungary along with more than 40 heads of state and government at the opening of the Grand Egyptian Museum in Cairo, the world’s largest museum dedicated to the heritage of ancient Egypt.
