“I thank God that I am here. I never play only for myself but for the team. Everything I have done is in the past, this is a new year and a new beginning and now I am here. I want to focus on this club, on the Attitude and the goals with this club,” Boakye began.
Then he looked back at Zvezda and thanked everyone present for the opportunity to play for the club from Doboj.
“I’m not here because I’m from Boać or because of Zvezda, I’m here because of Sloga.
I am also grateful to the coach, president and director who decided to give me a chance.
“Even though I did great things with Red Star, I’m focused on the present. I want to achieve great things with Sloga. I love Zvezda, but this is a new beginning,” and then he said:
“I want to win and I hope that together we will achieve as many as possible”.

“I hope that as a team we will create the conditions for Boać to show his maximum. He has qualities and we hope that he will contribute a lot to this club. With all his experience and what he has been through in his life, he can help our club. We understand and we will not rush to with his implementation in the team. We are satisfied with the way we responded in this transitional period. In addition to Rićmond, we managed to do some other work aimed at improving this club,” said Jusufbegović.
