Serbian tennis player Olga Danilović defeated American Jessica Pegula 2:0 in the 3rd round of the Australian Open.
For this 23-year-old, the victory over Pegula was the biggest in her career, that is, by placing in the 4th round of the Australian Open, she reached her best result ever, including last year’s placement in the 4th round of Roland Garros.
Olga Danilović is currently the 55th tennis player in the world, and with her great results in Australia, she secured entry into the top 50 on the WTA list and career ranking.
Today, she defeated the sixth seed of the tournament with 7:6 and 6:1, and it is worth pointing out that in the first three matches, Olga won without losing a single set.
In the next round, Olga Danilović will meet Paula Bados, who is 12th on the WTA list.
