One of Dinamo’s greatest talents has been refusing to sign a new contract with the Croatian champion for some time, and his current one expires in the summer.
Dinamo gave him an ultimatum three days ago that he has to make a decision whether to stay at the club or leave.
It was determined that there was no progress in the negotiations, so Dinamo chose to return Mikić to the juniors as their next move. Of course, it’s not Mikić the only one. All the juniors who were training with the seniors in Turkey were returned to the juniors because they are starting to prepare for matches with Tottenham in the Premier League Cup and Barcelona in junior Champions League.
Mikić, who will come of age on January 27th, needs minutes in order to develop, and Dinamo has his right back position Ronael Pierre-Gabriel, Stefan Ristovski and Sadegh Moharrami.
