The topic of the conversation was infrastructure projects with a special focus on the possibilities of designing, financing and construction of fast roads and highways on Corridor VC through the Federation of BiH. The meeting was also attended by the Director of Design and Construction of the Public Enterprise of the Federation of BiH, Ltd. Mostar asmir Dževlan.
Prime Minister Nikšić emphasized that the Federal Government is interested in infrastructure projects and potential funding models, by emphasizing that the Federation of BiH is the least indebted, and that is very stable to be financially.
– This opens up space for public works, investments and entering the arrangements that give creditors to guarantee that they have a partner who is financially capable – said Prime Minister Nikšić.
The Federal Prime Minister also explained that the Government of the Federation of BiH is open to all the interests of potential investors. He added that further steps will be carried out in accordance with legal regulations and with full transparency of procedures relating to the announcement of public calls for the selection of the most favorable bidders, ie contractors.
– We want to have relationships at fair grounds. We already had conversations with some other interested companies. I am glad that you also showed interest – said Prime Minister Niksic at the meeting.
Representatives of Chinese groups presented examples of their previous projects around the world and in the region, including already implemented infrastructure works in our country.
During the meeting, it was pointed out that the construction of fast roads should be planned to connect with the Corridor VC. It was especially emphasized that the Government of the Federation of BiH is building travel infrastructure, as the most hires domestic resources, has the greatest effects to initiate economic growth and development.
