“Your excellence, esteemed colleagues representatives of political entities in Bosnia and Herzegovina, respected by the High Representatives,
I don’t like to use heavy words and terms, but Bosnia and Herzegovina as a state is really at the historical milestone. The term “historical” in Bosnia and Herzegovina is quite cheaped by too much using, but for the current moment of the truthful and more convenient description there is no.
On the one hand, we have a situation in which it is obviously, aggressively violates the Constitution of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which confirms the decisions of the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which operates legitimately, legally and in accordance with constitutional procedures. Not only are the verdict violations, but the highest legal authority, the Constitutional Court is challenged.
In parallel, we have aggressive and unfounded challenging the legitimacy and the authority of the High Representative who operates fully legal, in accordance with the General Framework Agreement for Peace in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Resolution 1144 UN Security Council.
Finally, we are in a state in which leading people of the ruling coalition in one part of the country, the warrant is issued, which threatens violence in the case of their arrest before the judicial institution.
To tell immediately, for us in the SDP of Bosnia and Herzegovina these people are no longer and difficult to be partners, associates or potential negotiators about any aspect of the political life of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Of course, every crisis, even the current, also carries with them. I believe that the best opportunity for Bosnia and Herzegovina today is people who sit here, with all their differences and complexities. This group of parties has predispositions for Bosnia and Herzegovina’s progress and all of its people to join the European Union, we sincerely want our people to live better, but we show the capacity for cooperation and conversation and on issues in which we have different views.
We have shown honesty in our intention to make the framework of what we have the best we can to do a step forward on the road to the EU, on the way to economic and political stability.
I am not of those who are asking for others to solve our problems. But also, when we get to the wall, it should be reminded that others made us those walls and tailored this structure that was not a matter of choosing any of us. Europe, I think, has a moral obligation to Bosnia and Herzegovina. We expect clear messages and clear support for our efforts, at least clearly clear that opponents of peace and stability are clearly given to the people of our order and fragile peace we have built.
Our overall legal order is the result of interventionism, and that is not necessary to remind that international action, however, has made peace, but also envisaged institutions in charge of preserving peace and developing a democratic society.
We emphasize, we are solutions ready to look for within our own frames, and I believe that the only recipe for the interventionism is supported by this group of political entities, primarily European path, growth, laws and other key elements of the legal order. Exclusion from the process of the legal order of the legal order and destabilizing negator institutions, in which they have participated in the most part, for us, it is no longer a matter of choice than emergency and the only option. We are looking for your open, clear support on the path to restoring this country on the track and stability.
There are no taboos and questions that are not willing to address us. We are also ready to speak and electoral law. The introduction of modern technologies is a key step in actual democratization of choice and ensuring proper voice evaluation. We are also ready to bring hard decisions on other issues from the election law, respecting the reality and structure of the state. But for us in SDP, two principles are, which we consider the principles to promote and defend anyone who cares about the European values and respect for the constitution and the state.
The first set of principles that are guided by the instructions is clearly exposed to the Judgment of the European Court of Human Rights on which direction of the laws must go and what is European value and democratic practice.
The second principle we lead is the principle of the inviolability of symmetrical resolution of certain issues in which symmetry in the election process is already determined at the state level. We are also ready for compromises that would most likely most likely affect the citizens’ civic parties, the SDP as their leader, in terms of the indirect choice of the highest state body through the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
None of us needs to be sought or expected to make all concessions, because a compromise means the concessions of everyone for a common good, not the concessions of each other. From the principles exhibited in the judgments of the European Court of Human Rights, we do not give up. I guess no one has a right nor ask us.
We also expect support in our efforts to adopt European laws and access to EU funds, which we will virtually, improving the quality of life, citizens to show why the EU is the interest of everyone.
I have to say that in the SDP in this regard, we also expect a declaration of proposed personnel in the Council of Ministers, but also in the way of being sitting here, if there are any membership appointments and thus stabilize not only our cooperation and the European coalition, but also institutions awaiting their managers.
In the end, I want to emphasize that we are extremely grateful for our country for decades, the United States and the United Kingdom, and I’m sitting here, and I ask you to take a step that was waiting for more than a decade, step towards Europe. “
