The German government claims to support the solution of the two countries in which the Israelis and Palestinians live peacefully one next to others. However, the recognition of Palestine sees as the last step at the end of the peace process achieved by negotiations.
Almost 150 out of 193 United Nations Member States has already recognized Palestine. Given the current Israeli military operations in the Gaza belt, in which tens of thousands of people were killed, even countries are prepared to follow that example.
President Emmanuel Macron announced that France would recognize Palestine in September.
Canada and Great Britain have also promised recognition, with certain conditions.
