In the organization of the Atlets Club Goražde, the Fifth International Friendship Race will be held in the city in the Drina – Goražde 5k, the most massive sports event that will bring together top runners from BiH and numerous European countries.
The General Sponsors of the Manifestation is the Government of the BPK Goražde and the Ministry of Education, Youth, Science, as prominent at today’s meeting of the Resorce Minister Adise Al Polyadic Herrić, is all ready for this attractive event.
– This year we have over 300 reported competitors for the main race from ten European countries. In addition to the main race, there will be traditionally organized and children’s races in six age categories, in which more than 250 little ones will participate. Interesting is indeed great and applications continue to arrive, so there is a possibility of expanding the list – said President of the Atlets Club Goražde Zaim Schuman.
He thanked the institutions on the continuous support he has this club.
– I thank the Ministry and the Government of the BPK Goražde on the support of the continuity because it is a great thing to have institutional support, especially when it comes to international character events. We are focused on the quality of the organization and we will try to justify the confidence in the point, and as always, we are really good hosts – the Šuman added.

– Start and the goal is in the streets of Imamović. The race goes across the Alija Izetbegović bridge, Alija Hodžić, Iranian promenade, through the Baban Bridge, and back through the city core next to the Kasier Mosque to the goal. Strong competition awaits us, but I will do my best to treat my club once again and fellow citizens, “Hastor said.
From the Athletic Club Goražde, they called all citizens to come, support competitors, especially the youngest participants, and appealed to drivers for additional attention during the main race.
The Sort Minister of Adisa Al Polyadic-Herić emphasized the importance of this event for the promotion of sports and communion.
– This event is of great importance for our city and canton, because it promotes sports, socializing and international cooperation. Thank the organizers who work with so much dedication to its organization. Athletics in Goražde, thanks to such events, he receives a well-deserved place among the most important sports – the Al Polyadic-Herić emphasized.
International Friendship Race Goražde 5 K begins tomorrow Tights for children at 5.30 pm while the main race will be held at 7 p.m.
