Final matches in male and female competition, 29. International Junior Tennis Tournament “Open RTC Barcelona 1899 – Sarajevo 2025”, Memorial Namik Terzimehić, Juan Antonio Samaranch and Juan Maria Tintore. The winners of the tournament are Istvan Damjan Mokan and Marie Charlotte Monnier.
Hungarian Mocan beats 2: 0 in Romanian Dargosamihai Mone, and the identical result of the Monnier Polish was better than March Jenić from Croatia.
Receibutions to the finalists and winners were given by Berta Tintore the envoy of the city of Barcelona and the daughter of the late Juan Marie Tintore, and Astrid Masague Vice President of the RCT Barcelona 1899.
The tournament closed Haris Kafedžić, President TK “Tennis Pro 1996”.
All matches were played on tennis courts “CSR Koševo” in the Patriot league bb in Sarajevo.
This year in Sarajevo, about 100 young tennis players and tenniss from as many as 23 countries are competed. Among the participants are representatives from Spain, Austria, Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Serbia, Romania, Ukraine, Russia, Slovakia, Latvia, Great Britain, Kazakhstan and Bosnia and Herzegovina, with the premiere players from Canada and Hong Kong.
During the nearly three decades, the tournament was hosted by numerous champions – on these grounds played Marin Čilić, Mirza Bašić, Ivan Dodig, Nermanfatić, Nephisa Berberović, Laslo Đere, Mate and Ante Pavić, and many others.
It was in Sarajevo to its first international steps and Daniil Medvedev, who later became the world number one.
