On that occasion, Minister Isaak referred honest greeting cards to all members of the border police, emphasizing their role in preserving the security of borders and the fight against all forms of cross-border crime:
“Today, when we celebrate the day of the border police, I express our duties every day, commitment and the European Ministry of Our country. The Federal Ministry of the Interior will continue to provide full support for strengthening the border police capacity, in the interest of peace, stability and security of all citizens Bosnia and Herzegovina. “
Minister Isaak pointed out that the cooperation between entity and state security institutions is very important in order to further improve the fight against illegal migration, human trafficking and organized crime.
The ceremony was held with the presence of numerous team members from the institutions of the security sector, representatives of international organizations and representatives of the legislative and executive, as well as the BiH Border Police Officer.
BiH Border Police began operating operatively 6. June 2000. By forming the first unit of Sarajevo Airport, therefore the day of the border police are marked on this date.
