– RS did not receive a gift, but an interest with an unknown creditor, under unknown conditions, and that debt returns Višković, but all my citizens and the RS economy, without anyone asking anything. It is inadmissible that the government is taking hundreds of millions of euros debt, without even known who borrows that money, and some obligations we take on. And the truth is as follows: This is not a development, this is the survival to the debt – Miličević points out.
He added that in 2026. The RS year comes to the billion and 600 million marks of loans and that it means that the people will pay the price of a multi-year inaccurate borrowing policy.
While the government is in debt, Miličević stated, local communities are suffocated because revenues are becoming smaller, as money is directed on loan repayment and suspicious projects. Instead of investing in infrastructure, health, education and assistance to the economy, the RS government continues with borrowing that generations will be paid expensively behind us.
– And finally, what kind of political situation are we in? The people became the hostage of one man. All decisions are made by one central power, without consultations with citizens and without any responsibility. RS Tone in debt, the economy fail, public institutions are collapsing, and the people are deceived by the story of success – said Milicevic, the SDS said.
