Michele Šego (24) arrived in Varaždin on loan from Hajduk, and in the summer of 2022 he terminated his contract with ‘Bila’ and signed for Varaždin until the summer of 2026.
In the Varaždin jersey, Šego turned into one of the best players SuperSport HNL, played 107 games, scored 17 goals with 22 more assists.

Michele Šego won two awards in the selection for the best in SuperSport HNL in November. Šego celebrated in the competition for the best player and for the best goal, and the awards were presented to him before the match against Osijek.
