Last weekend, members of the Champion karate club achieved outstanding results at the prestigious Marseille Open karate tournament.
In a competition of as many as 900 competitors from 33 countries, the KK Champion competitors won three gold and one silver medal, thus taking a high sixth place in the overall ranking.
Gold medals for KK Champion were won by Davud Muhović (in the category U14 up to 45 kg), Daris Džafo (cadet, up to 57 kg) and Harun Smajić (junior, over 76 kg), while Vedad Mujić (junior, up to 61 kg).
After a great performance at the Marseille Open tournament, members of KK Champion remain in Marseille for a training camp until Wednesday. Then they travel to Paris, where they will perform at the prestigious Karate 1 Premier League tournament. The best Bosnian karate player, Anes Bostandžić, will perform at this competition, who is rightly expected to achieve excellent results.
KK Champion continues with brilliant successes, proving that it is among the leading karate clubs in the region, the club announced.
