Turkish media announced today that Fenerbahce has set a price for Dominik Livaković.
Earlier they wrote that there were several offers for the Croatian national team player, and now almost everyone claims the same thing – whoever wants Livaković, must pay compensation of 20 million euros.
It would be one of the biggest sales in the club’s history. So far, Arda Güler has been sold to Real Madrid for that amount, probably the biggest talent the club has ever had, and only three players have been sold for more. Elvir Baljić also moved to Real for 21 million euros 25 years ago, Vedat Muriqi moved to Lazio in 2021 for the same amount, and the record holder is Ferdi Kadioglu, who was sold to Brighton last summer for 30 million euros.
Dinamo would also make money
As the Turks previously announced, there are already three offers for Livaković. Offers reportedly came from Spain, Germany and Saudi Arabia. The offer from Germany is believed to be that of Bayern. Namely, as Fotospor writes, Bayern are very interested in Livakovic as they are looking for a replacement for 38-year-old Manuel Neuer.
The German is getting closer to the end of his career, and Livaković, the Turks write, seems ideal because of the vast experience he already has, but still a small number of years. If there is a transfer of 20 million euros, he could earn i Dinamo, which is entitled to 10% of Fener’s profit from the next transferwrites Index.hr.
Given that Livaković arrived from Dinamo in the summer of 2023 for 6.6 million euros in compensation, math says that Dinamo would go for it 10% of the 13.4 million euro difference, so it’s roughly earnings 1.3 million euros.
