The event was organized by the Associations Associations in Austria “Consilium Bosniacum”, and gathered numerous successful and prominent Bosnian businessmen from Austria, representatives of the Association and Embassy of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Vienna.
In his address, Vice President Lendo expressed his gratitude to the hosts in a successful organization and praised Bosnian businessmen who built a reputation and property away from the homeland, not forgetting Bosnia and Herzegovina. He pointed out the importance of conservation and mutual solidarity, and underlined that businessmen from the diaspora consist of a bridge between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the world, playing a key role in strengthening the economic relations and stability of the homeland.
“Your work and successes represent the pride of our country. You did not only build successful careers, but through investment and commitment to the development of our homeland. That is why you thank you from the bottom of our hearts,” Lendo said.
Lendo Vice President also pointed out the challenges facing Bosnia and Herzegovina, especially in the context of political and legal uncertainty. Although the current situation in the country is challenging, Lendo expressed the belief that Bosnia and Herzegovina has the capacity to protect its constitutional legal order and ensure stability and security for all its citizens.
“Mubark Moon Ramadan reminds us of the importance of patience and communion. We welcome this period in Bosnia and Herzegovina with challenges, but with faith in the ability of our institutions and our people to overcome all difficulties,” Lendo said.
Iftar was organized with the aim of networking the Bosnian diaspora with the homeland, developing business cooperation and realization of new projects for the improvement of economic and social relations. The event has enabled the exchange of experiences and ideas, and strengthening the links between businessmen, institutions and organizations from Bosnia and Herzegovina and Austria.
